GOODIES FOOD HALL – CALL & COLLECT AND SHOPPING DELIVERY SERVICES NOW IN TO THIRD WEEK

 

Goodies Food Hall is now in to its third week of delivering food and supplies to people all over South Norfolk during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular South Norfolk Farm Shop is busy delivering essential provisions to customers up and down the A140 and as far away as Thetford and Norwich. The Food Hall, which includes a Butchery, Deli, Bakery and more is still open to customers wanting to shop (a maximum of 10 customers may shop at one time) but its big focus at the moment is preparing and delivering orders for customers – which it has been doing effectively for two weeks already with fantastic feedback. Goodies have been working hard with all their local suppliers to maintain good stocks of everything in order to meet customer needs. They receive regular deliveries of essentials such as bread, milk, eggs, chicken and potatoes as well as continuing to bake their own delicious goods such as pies, pastries and cakes. They also continue to make their own ready-meals including Cottage Pie, Lasagne, Fish Pie, pasta dishes and Sausage and Mash. These hearty dishes, made to their own recipe, are proving very popular with families ordering them for older relatives in isolation as well as for their own family meals.

Owner Stuart Gooderham says, “we built our business on understanding our customers and giving them what they want and on developing effective relationships with our local suppliers. It has never been more important for us to be here for our customers both old and new, and to continue to support local producers. We are proud to be part of the local effort to keep people well and fed, and we will continue to do everything we can to support our communities and customers at this challenging time. We are delivering 7 days a week to a wide area.”

Customers can call to place an order and collect from the shop itself (or have their orders brought to their cars in the car park) or opt to have their shopping delivered to their home. Delivery is free within 5 miles of the shop. The Call and Collect and Shopping Delivery services at Goodies are a real family affair too, with wife and co-owner Kim Gooderham and son Lewis doing their fair share of deliveries.
