Retro is the Theme for our September Evening Dining Event

It’s HERE! The menu for our next evening dining event on Friday 27 September is released today and it’s a classic! 

Martin and the team have put together the most brilliant retro menu, celebrating some of the best loved classic dinner party dishes of the 1980s. So ladies – dig out your shoulder pads and go heavy on the hairspray. And fellas – slip on those slip ons and douse yourself in Brut. We’re going back to the 1980s in this very special culinary time machine! Book now as this is sure to be a popular night!

Breaded Brie Wedges

With cranberry & orange, watercress & lambs leaf salad

Posh Prawn Cocktail

Served in a glass with iceberg lettuce, dried cherry tomatoes & pickled cucumber

With confit garlic aioli

Salmon en Croute

Salmon supreme, prawns, spinach & Cheddar cheese encased in puff pastry, Champagne veloute, hasselback potatoes and dill oil

Herb Crusted Pork Fillet

Fondant potato, braised red cabbage, caramelised apple puree and a Port cream jus

Steak Diane (£5 supplement) 

Pan-seared Sirloin cooked to your liking, topped with garlic sautéed mushrooms, parmentier potatoes, roasted cherry tomatoes and a shallot, Dijon mustard & brandy cream sauce

Plaice Fillet

Rolled with crab mousse, with sauté potatoes on a bed of samphire, vanilla prawn bisque

Chicken Ballotine

Stuffed with apricot & orange, gratin potato, almond & garlic fine beans and a brandy & mustard seed cream sauce
