Celebrate Father’s Day at Goodies

We still have some tables available for Father’s Day breakfast and lunch on Sunday 20 June. Book now to avoid disappointment!

 

We’re serving up our awesome Father’s Day special, “Big Daddy’s Toad in the Hole” alongside our famous breakfasts and brunches, sensational Sunday roasts and our main restaurant menu – there’s got to be something special here for even the fussiest of Dads! We’ve live music in the garden from Norwich favourite Graham McGrotty between 12pm and 2pm too. See our Father’s Day Menu HERE.

 

Of course there are plenty of other ways that you can celebrate the fine fellas in your life here at Goodies. Pick up a tasty steak, cake or one of our famous pork pies – or one of our bottles of wonderful local gin, whisky or vodka. Oh and don’t forget the local beers too! Restaurant NOW OPEN!

We’re so thrilled that our wonderful restaurant is now open to welcome diners both inside and out. Now’s the time to make a visit! To book a table please call us on 01379 676880. Walk ins are also welcome.

 

Given the amount of time that we were actually able to open last year, our lovely restaurant is still “as new” and still gets a gasp of “WOW!” from anyone who hasn’t visited since before March 2020. (Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves to believe the transformation). If you haven’t yet visited our restaurant you won’t know of our double height ceiling and spacious new design. It’s light, airy and there’s plenty of room plus a sensational new restaurant menu – everything you could want in an eating-out experience at the moment! Goodies Restaurant NOW OPEN!

We are delighted to announce that our restaurant (outside seating only) is NOW OPEN. Until 17th May we are only able to served customers in our restaurant garden so we will are making full use of our wonderful outside space with a gazebo roof covering many of our tables. Our restaurant is open from 9am – 3pm, 7 days a week from Thursday 15th April – serving breakfast, brunch and lunch. Please book your table by calling us on 01379 676880 or by emailing us at foodhallgoodies@gmail.com Walk in customers are also welcome – subject to available tables. Please note that entry to the garden restaurant is via our shop as customers will be required to check in on arrival.

 

Until 17th May, we are offering a special garden menu (see below) with breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes available, before launching our new full restaurant menu when (hopefully) we can open the restaurant inside again in May.

 

Please dress for the weather and wrap up on cooler days as although we have a gazebo roof, it is not enclosed. (Gazebo not shown in photo.)

Our new season Posh Nosh to Enjoy at Home menu launches TODAY (15/02/21). When you told us that you wanted a new selection of restaurant quality dishes to enjoy at home – we listened! And our Head Chef, Darren Reilly, has come up with a fantastic Norfolk-themed menu to see you through the colder months before Spring. We’ll be serving up our new season Posh Nosh to Enjoy at Home every Thursday, Friday and Saturday up to and including Saturday 13 March – orders need to be placed by Wednesday each week. And it doesn’t stop there, we’ve beefed up our Roasting Sundays menu too with the additional of a Banquet Hen for 4 people. Don’t forget to order your Goodies Two-course Sunday Roast for Mother’s Day on Sunday 14 March too. It’s time to get ordering…!

It’s time to plan your Valentine’s Day celebrations. And while you can’t take your loved one out for dinner this year, you can still treat them to an amazing three-course dinner at home. Our sumptuous 3 course Valentine’s Day Feast is lovingly prepared by our Head Chef, Darren Reilly – so you’ll be enjoying restaurant quality food on your own dining table.
GOODIES VALENTINE’S DAY MENU
To Start…
A Sensational Sea Food Platter
Including langoustines, prawns, crab claw pate, jumbo succulent crevettes, Mexican shrimp cocktail, garlic, chilli & parsley crayfish, razor clams, citrus vinegar cockles and local steamed samphire – served with a selection of brown breads, lemon & chive mayo and grilled lemons.*
For Main Course…
Beef Wellington made with prime fillet of beef with chestnut mushroom duxelles, Parma ham and spinach – baked until golden brown. Served with goose fat roasted square thyme potatoes, triple cheese cauliflower gratin with sautéed garlic French beans and crispy shallots.
For Dessert…
Head Chef’s Marbled Raspberry & Toblerone Cheesecake served with Chef’s Surprise 2 sauces.
Our Valentine’s Day Feast is not just available on 14th February, it is available (collection or delivery) on Friday 12th, Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th February.
